Loyal followers of the pop star are demanding that a person who breached a fence and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is evidently a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Fans Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous followers criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said a further comment on Instagram.

A number of fans also questioned event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals called for social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Many of attendees had congregated in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual version of the popular stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning film of last year in the UK, and received 10 Academy Award nods, securing a pair for outstanding attire and production design.
